Fawn
White-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) are native to North, Central, and South America. Females give birth to 1-3 spotted fawns in the spring. For the first month, new fawns stay hidden in vegetation by their mothers. White-tailed deer have many forms of communication involving sounds, scent, body language, and marking; they famously raise their white tail to signal danger. This fawn looks attentive and unperturbed. It’s how I’d wish to live my life! Nature know such grace without trying.
